Here is how it works. Each month, the ACFE publishes the Fraud Magazine for distribution to CFE, Associate and Student members. Each magazine contains a 10 question quiz on the articles and items discussed in that month's issue. Members can take 5 quizzes (from 5 of the last 12 month's issues) and submit them. If you score a 70% you get a certificate in the mail for 10hrs of CPE.

Best of all, in addition to the paper magazine that you will receive, you will gain access to the online versions as well. So you can work on your CPE while traveling or on the road.

So what do you have to do to take advantage of this affordable and useful CPE opportunity?

1. Become a National Associate Member of the ACFE for $125. You can do so at www.acfe.org
2. Once you get your membership number, log on and access 5 magazines in the past 12 mo.
3. Read the magazines and take the quizzes. Submit your $69 Quiz fee

When you pass, you receive 10hrs of CPE for a total of $194. You can do this each year.

In addition to the CPE opportunity, you are now considered a Member of the ACFE and you will have access to all of the fraud related tools and information on the National Website.

Lastly, if you choose this option and become an Associate Member of the ACFE, you can become a member of the local ACFE Chapter. In this case, the New Orleans Chapter of the ACFE. More information on becoming a local member is listed on the website.
