The New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners would like to invite you to our March 4th Luncheon at Zeas on St. Charles. The topic will be Computer Forensics and Data Recovery. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Golden G. Richard III, Ph.D., Professor of Computer Science at the University of New Orleans. He is also the Director of the Greater New Orleans Center for Information Assurance at the University of New Orleans. If you have never had a chance to hear Dr. Richard's presentation on computer forensics and the tools that are available to salvage and recover data, you will not want to miss this presentation. Due to the topic and the wealth of information Dr. Richard has to present, this luncheon will be worth 1.5hrs of CPE credit and will start at 11:30. All Membership Dues must be paid and be current by June 24th. New Members do not have to pay renewal fees in 2009. A list of exempt members is attached. |

Finding affordable and useful Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is difficult to say the least. The ACFE has a widely overlooked option that not many people outside of the ACFE know about. This opportunity can be taken by individuals or entire departments wanting a more affordable CPE option for their employees. And this option can be taken each year. |
